Cheira Lewis is an Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies at DePauw University where she teaches a wide range of language and content-based courses. In her Francophone culture courses, she takes a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses the fields of gender, critical race and postcolonial theories, and immigration. Her research interests span both Francophone literature and film studies.
